Is This Program Right for You?
Many of the women who come to Mothers Move Mountains are asking the same question you might be asking right now: can I get well and still be there for my children? The answer is yes — and this program was built around helping you do both at the same time.
You may be a good fit for this program if:
-
You are 21 years of age or older.
-
You have a substance use disorder diagnosis and are ready to begin, or continue, treatment.
-
Your physical health is currently stable — you do not need 24-hour hospital-level medical monitoring for withdrawal.
-
You're able to manage your own day-to-day needs (meals, hygiene, basic self-care) with the encouragement of staff and peers, without requiring an on-site medical aide.
-
Your current living situation makes it difficult to stay safe and substance-free, and you would benefit from a structured, sober environment with support available around the clock.
-
You're willing and able to take part in at least 5 hours of counseling, group therapy, or education each week.
-
You're ready to take an active role in your own recovery and in building a stable, healthy life for yourself and your family.
